Matthew 5:4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.

Loss is something we all encounter at some point in our lives, but it is never easily endured. We can find our comfort in reliance on the Lord as he reveals the blessings bestowed upon us even in those times of loss. Color is used in the piece to represent those blessings that are quietly revealed as the Lord helps us through our grief.

Allison Fox is a Christian artist who seeks to challenge her viewers while at the same time explore the intersection of her faith and art. She earned her BA in Art from Houston Baptist University and is active in her local art community in Houston, Texas.
